Linebackers banged up

It has been hard for the Pitt coaches to gauge how good the Linebackers are going to be because most of them have been injured for most or all of the spring practices so far.

"The most disappointing position has probably been linebacker,'' Wannstedt said. "Loheyde has been banged up back and forth from his surgery a year ago. Dorin Dickerson has been hurt and Webster's been sick."

This is not a good sign but it seems that the injuries aren't serious and they should all be 100% healthy coming into the fall.

"We're hoping that Dorin can get back next week,'' Wannstedt said. "The swelling is almost down, and he's doing everything that he can to get back. Loheyde's working, and our doctors seem to have Webster's problems under control"
